The second Manhattan District Blood Drive.

Mar 11
Description

1. On Wednesday, March 11, 2009, the second Manhattan District will be hosting a blood drive.

The event will be held at The Grand Masonic Lodge of New York, 71 West 23rd Street New York, NY 10010-4149 (near the corner of 23rd street and 6th Ave.), room 2 East. It will commence at 3pm in the afternoon.

2. There is an urgent call for your donation as the supply in New York is low. . Emergencies happen every day, and having blood donations available for those that are in need is essential. The blood we donate helps victims of motor vehicle accidents, different types of anemia, different types of cancer, and many other emergencies that are seen in the hospitals.

3. The most common temporary reasons for not being able to give blood are having cold or flu signs or symptoms, certain heart conditions, piercings or tattoos, blood transfusions. Other common reasons include travel to countries where malaria is problematic, full term pregnancy, abortion or miscarriage, syphilis or gonorrhea, certain forms of cancer, or had sex with anyone exhibiting the first five reasons written for not being able to give blood.

4. Please come out and support the drive. There will be snacks to aid you in the replenishment, but more importantly, you saved a life without the risk of being a rescuer! Show your support on the 11th by donating blood that may save a life. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If there are any questions, please contact Bro. Anthony Ancrum at 646-645-2725 or email him at pieceslayer@aol.com. Thank you for your needed support.
